Advisory 14 Mar 2020

Dear Zion Bishan Members, since last weekend, further countries have been added to the MOH advisory’s precautionary list of locations for contact. Please continue reading these advisories carefully each week, as we expect changes and updated MOH guidelines all the time. We would also like to assure you that ZB Leaders are aware of MOH’s advisory to scale down religious services, and have been working hard towards that end.

👥📖 With respect to our Sunday services, we encourage members to consider meeting as AGs in homes to watch the livestream of the 10:30am English Service together. This is one way in which we can responsibly adhere to the MOH guidelines while ensuring we can encourage one another through prayer and the Word in this time. Once again, if you are not currently in an AG, please seriously consider joining one very soon, as these smaller groups become even more important in the coming weeks/months. As always, please continue following our established practices:

😷🏠Do rest at home and do not attend any church activities if:
-> You are physically unwell e.g. fever, cough, flu, sore throat etc.
-> You have had frequent or close contact with any person who is unwell with fever and respiratory symptoms
-> You have had contact with anyone who has returned from China, Iran, the Republic of Korea, any part of Italy, France, Germany and Spain within the past 14 days
-> You have participated in any Community Centre or Residents’ Committee activities in the past 14 days

📝📲 Please also fill in our online form for Contact Tracing before you attend service each Sunday: http://bit.ly/ZBCovid19 . As usual, do continue to come early to Services to help facilitate smooth screening measures.

🎥💻 The livestream of our 10:30am English Service will continue to run for those who are unable to be with us in person. From 10:30am, please visit the following link: http://www.youtube.com/zionbishan.

🙏🏼🙌🏽 It is natural that some of us may feel a little more anxious given the current international situation and the heightened, local measures. May we turn such worries into prayers that our Father will help us long even more for the Day of our Lord Jesus’ return. In the meantime, however the situation may worsen in this temporal age, let us stand fast together in faith, hope and love like the Thessalonian church did! Though our labour in the Gospel may take a different shape in these evolving times, let us spur each other on to live in holiness and to walk properly before outsiders (1 Thess 4).
