ISEE CARE MINISTRIES

Vision

At Zion Bishan, we want to be a church that:

  • loves one another as Jesus loves us (John 13:34)
  • enables persons with different needs to join in worship of God together as a community

Mission

To provide practical and spiritual care for those who need assistance in caring for themselves. Our desire is to do so by:

  • I – Integrating these persons into the community
  • S – Supporting and caring for their well-being
  • E – Encouraging growth in faith, love and character
  • E – Educating & equipping the church with knowledge and skills to care for these people

Hearing Impaired (HI)

As an Action Group (AG), the Hearing Impaired Ministry (HIM) meets monthly for the study of God’s Word.

The HIM also sings in Sign Language together at the 10.30 worship service. Monitor screens with a typist and basic interpretation are provided. All HIs are welcome to join us.

Children with Special Abilities (SA)

We help children with different abilities on their journeys to integrate into society. Depending on their age groups, they can be part of our Children’s or Youth Discipleship, and monthly Action Group meetings.

Our special mums group meets monthly for support, sharing and prayer.

Visually Impaired (VI)

Care befrienders help our Visually Impaired (VI) by cleaning their homes and visiting them on a weekly basis, being a friend and fetching them to and back from church.

Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

Zion Bishan BP Church is an accessible place of worship for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM).

At the 10:30 am service, our Care Befrienders are available to attend to PRMs who may need assistance in church; and our Spiritual Befrienders to support in prayer.

Life Fellowship

This is a casual monthly gathering where we can freely talk about life’s health challenges.

Whether we face illnesses like cancer, mental health issues, or we are care-givers, sharing our different experiences encourages us not to give up! Time and again, we find much comfort because we all understand each other’s worries and medical concerns too. Come journey together!

We meet every second Saturday of the month at 4pm, and we have a WhatsApp chat group too. To find out more, contact Ben at bchia019@yahoo.com.sg
