Surely God is good …” (v. 1)

Disorientation (vv. 2-15)

  • Why are the bullies winners?
  • Why should I be a loser?

Surely in vain have I kept my heart pure …” (v. 13)

Reorientation (vv. 16-28)

  • till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood

Surely you place them on slippery ground …” (v. 18)

Conclusion

“But as for me, it is good to be near God.” (v. 28)
