Children & Young Persons Safety Policy

Here at Zion Bishan, we recognise the importance of our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children (anyone under the age of 13) and young persons (anyone under the age of 21) committed to the church’s care.

Care of children and young people is primarily provided through their relationships with the pastors, the children’s and youth ministry staff, the Children’s Discipleship Leaders/Assistants, the Youth Discipleship Leaders and other Youth Leaders (e.g. small group leaders, Youth Fellowship committee).

All staff and volunteers involved in the church’s activities catering to children and youth must abide by our safety policy to ensure that these relationships take place in a safe environment. You can view the policy in the document below.
