Men’s Ministry

When we are engaged and know our place as God’s men in the battlefield, we do not become entangled with the things of the world. Focus on the battlefront, come out of the kingdom of the world, get out of the distractions that hold us back or pull us away.

Self-Harm – What, Why and How to Help
Speaker: Mrs. Sim Nga Hoon

27 Sep (Sat) 9am – 12pm, Chapel (L4)

1 in 4 young people in Singapore have engaged in self-harm, often starting around age 14, according to a national study by IMH. Many hide it due to shame and stigma, making it hard for parents and caregivers to notice.

This talk will explore why self-harm happens, the warning signs to look out for, and how peers, parents, and caregivers can recognise and respond appropriately to support those affected.

Come join us if you know of someone who self-harms or you are concerned that your children may follow this increasingly common trend.
