1. What was one truth you remember from the sermon or passage?
2. How do you think this episode in Acts has given Theophilus (Luke 1:1-4) or any reader of the book greater certainty about the Gospel?
3. Imagine a day when we face formal, secular opposition to the gospel in our daily lives. How would you respond, and how would you take heart from this passage?
4. Pray: for brothers and sisters you know locally or abroad facing such persecution, that God’s deliverance in life or in death may prevail over any gospel opposition.
