ZION BISHAN COVID-19 TASKFORCE ADVISORY

Dear Zion Bishan members,

Thank God our nation is now in DORSCON YELLOW. Safe Management Measures (SMMs) have been substantially relaxed, and the emphasis is now on Personal Responsibility rather than on the imposition of regulations. It is time to come home.

a. Most of our activities, including all our Worship services, will no longer require vaccine-differentiation. The exceptions are dining in at The Living Room (TLR), and events with more than 500 persons.

b. There is no more limit on group sizes and on safe-distancing. The sanctuary capacity will be raised to 500.

c. We will incorporate more elements into our Sunday worship service, including more songs for congregational singing (while masked) and the gradual resumption of Fellowship Tea. All our activities may feature masked singing.

As a matter of personal responsibility, do refrain from attending in-person activities if you are unwell. And let us know if you had come for an in-person activity and later tested positive for COVID-19.

Please note also that our Annual Congregational Meeting (ACM) on 28 May will remain virtual, as there is not enough time to work out the legal and administrative framework for organizing a hybrid ACM. Dialogues will be arranged beforehand so that we may discuss important matters that require a vote at the ACM.

We strongly encourage you to come for regular Sunday worship in-person [register here: https://www.zionbishan.org.sg/2022/02/english-services-registration-2/]. Our chief concern is for the spiritual well-being and growth of each of you. We have been exhorted not to neglect meeting together (Hebrews 10:25), and we have tasted the blessings of gathering in person. Do also encourage others you know, who have been worshiping from home for a long time, to come back. It is time.
