Prayer Points 29 Oct 2023

Our Church

Zion Bishan 29th Anniversary – We thank God for His 29 years of provisions. We will be finishing one cycle of 30 years next year and will also be renewing our land lease. Pray that we will look back with gratefulness for God’s provisions and look forward with courage and commitment to do more and greater things for God, as a church and as an individual. May God help us to be best of what is said of the seven churches in Revelation!

AG Leaders Hebrews Bible Study – Thank God for the year’s journey through the book of Hebrews for about 40 of our AG leaders! Praise God for speaking to us through His Son in these last days, and helping us draw near to Him and run the Christian faith with endurance together as brothers and sisters in Christ. Pray that the Lord will keep these words hidden in our hearts as we continue to fix our eyes on our Lord Jesus, and that the break from the LP bible study cycle from now till January 2024 will be restful for our leaders.

Nepal Teams – Thank God for the safe return of Dn Beng Hwee, Danny J, Yuen Kee, Weng last Friday. Praise God they were able to trek to the various Tibetan Villages in East Nepal to see the work of the partner’s school as well as visit other workers there. Please continue to uphold Bro HR and Sharon as they serve our partners in the western hills and plains of Nepal. Pray for continued safety as well as fruitful times of connecting with our partners in west Nepal.

Our World

Mongolia – Thank God for today’s mission focus sharing on a mission trip to Mongolia. This country has less than 2% Christian adherents (Joshua project). Pray for wisdom to discern how Zion Bishan can support this small Mongolian community of believers so that they can grow in their faith and share the gospel with the unreached in their nation.

Middle East – As we hear the news of what is happening in Israel and Gaza, pray for the Lord’s mercy on the people on both sides of the divide. May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with God’s people in war torn places. Pray for safety and healing for all the vulnerable on both sides.
