Prayer Points 18 May 2025

Our Church

Domestic Helpers Fellowship (DHF) – Over 40 helpers will be going to Rainforest Wild Asia this Sunday after their Bible Studies in the morning. Pray for good weather and safety for all. We thank God for the sponsorship from Serving In Mission’s (SIM’s) Indonesian Diaspora Ministry. Pray for the 16 non-DHF members who are attending that they will enjoy the fellowship and be keen to visit again. Pray also for our regular DHF members who are believers to be good befrienders and for the light and love of Christ to shine through them.

Additions & Alterations Building Project – The tender submissions will be coming in this week, pray for the Lord to guide our team of consultants in the tender evaluation process and wisdom in our selection of a contractor to undertake this project. The Audio-Visual Tender was issued this past week, ask the Lord to prepare a good vendor for this specialized work.  Pray for God’s continued guidance in the design details to ensure not only for the physical structure to be built well but for it to meet the needs of multiple usages of the space for gospel purposes.

Radion Trip (24 May – 2 June) – Our sisters Audrey and Steffi will be joining 7 others from other churches on a trip to Radion, Thailand. In addition to visiting the villagers of Khek Noi, they will be running an early intervention camp for children at risk. Pray for safety, and that their time will be encouraging for both the Singapore team and the Radion staff there. May God open their eyes and their hearts to see what He is doing in that part of the world

Our World

India-Pakistan Conflict (CNA, 10 May) – Praise God that both countries have agreed to a ceasefire last weekend. The fighting between these 2 South Asian countries has been the worst in nearly 3 decades, threatening to erupt into a full-scale war in one of the world’s most volatile and densely populated regions. Pray for both countries, which according to Joshua Project, are least reached. With only 1% Christians in Pakistan and 2.2% Christians in India. May the peace of Christ flow from these small communities of Jesus followers to their wider communities.

Nepal – Thank God for Ps HR and CT who are into their second week in a remote part of West Nepal. They are there to bring encouragement and an opportunity to study God’s word for some key leaders of our partner. May these times of sitting in God’s word bring a renewal of the mind and greater love for God for all these leaders. Pray that God’s love and truth can flow out also to their communities.
