Prayer Points 6 July 2025

Our Church

July Missions Month – Your Kingdom Come – As we embark on a new series in July, let’s be asking God to enlarge our hearts and minds for His Kingdom. Knowing the times we’re living in, may we feel also the urgency for the lost to be reached with the Gospel. Pray for His Spirit’s empowering for us to be emboldened witnesses for Him wherever we go.

Apprentices – We praise God for our 5 brothers and sisters who began their year of apprenticeship with us this past Tuesday! Let us as a church family lift up Christina, Timothy See, Jen Wei, Melvin and Annette to the Lord for the year ahead – that they grow in knowledge and delight in the Lord Jesus, sitting at His feet, listening to His teaching, rejoicing that their names are written in heaven (Luke 10). May they thus be shaped and formed by His Spirit in their training and ministry.

BPCIS Retreat – Pray for around 100 leaders from across the BP churches who will be going for the annual BPCIS retreat over the next two days. It is a critical moment for our denomination as we think about moving to the next phase of growth, cooperation & outreach!

Our People

KY – Thank God for answered prayer for a rescheduled flight back to West Asia yesterday. The conflict continues unabated in the region, so pray for safe travels for her and transition back to work in the refugee camp. Pray for the NGO that she works for to have enough resources for a special needs centre that they have set up to provide early intervention services for special needs children with Cerebral Palsy (CP).

Our World

Ministry to the Visually Challenged (VC) in Indonesia – Our partner in this part of Indonesia reports the encouraging testimony of Brother B, who is VC and sells crackers for his living. Our partner has a ministry led by another VC christian brother who helps teach others with similar challenges how to use technology and smart investment to earn a better living. Brother B was served by this ministry and was able to have some money to go to university. Praise God he was able to graduate with a major in Education recently. In addition to helping this community better themselves, this ministry has been able to start an online Bible study with some of them. They now have several people whom they have discipled leading other bible studies in the VC community. May this ministry continue to share the love of Christ to the VC community and their families.
