Discussion Questions:
- Mary had a broken life experience in the past, tormented by evil spirits. Yet, in Luke 8:1-3, Mary is able to serve Jesus. What about your own life experience? What are you grateful to God for?
- Joanna was willing to leave her comfort zone to follow Jesus.
Is there anything you find hard to lay aside to follow Jesus wholeheartedly? What lesson/s have you learned from today’s story? - Susanna was only mentioned once in the Bible, and we do not know anything she did for Jesus. How does that reconcile with our achievement-oriented culture?
