Our Church

A&A Building Project – We thank God that after a thorough tender process involving several rounds of interviews, the building committee, with approval from Session, has awarded the contract to HD Construction Pte Ltd (HD) to undertake the A&A building works. HD will take possession of site on 25 August to start preparation works as they await for the Permit to Commence Work which is expected to be in mid to end September. The project is estimated to take 15 months to complete. 

Please pray for:

  • effective and productive team work between consultants, contractors & all personnel involved in the project
  • timely approval of all applications to the authorities
  • safety for all users and workers on site
  • commitment of church members to pray regularly for the project and especially for all the personnel working on site that each one will have the opportunity, during these 15 months, to encounter Christ and experience His love through our life and witness as a Church Family.

Look into Full Time – Praise God for the handful of brothers and sisters joining us today to find out more about full-time paid gospel ministry at Zion Bishan. Pray that the Lord of the harvest would continue to nurture and grow many more to consider gospel work both locally and globally for the sake of His name.

Christianity Explored (CE) – The course begins this coming Wednesday, 27 August. Praise God for the 8 seekers, members and friends who have signed up. Pray for the 8 table hosts who will be coming alongside over the next 7 weeks to help them see Jesus through the Gospel of Mark. May Christ be presented faithfully, and with each one hearing His invitation, be led to take steps closer to Him. If you’d still like to bring a friend along, just reach out to the team.

Our World

Malaysia – As Malaysia celebrates her 68th National Day on 31 Aug, let us give thanks for our beloved northern neighbour and ask God to continue to bless the nation which has also blessed Singapore.

Let us pray for:

  • Christ’s followers to be courageous and effective witnesses for the Lord
  • the MCEL churches in Hubong, Endau & Rompin to continue to be faithful in making Christ known, as they face challenges of youngsters leaving for education and employment.
  • the strengthening and continuous equipping work amongst the Orang Asli believers.
  • a place of worship for a small Indian congregation in Ipoh
  • our partner, WP as they develop and distribute Bahasa resources to equip the BM speaking churches, leaders & individuals.
