Our Church
Christianity Explored — Praise God for guiding us through the past 7 weeks of the Christianity Explored course, which just concluded this week. Let’s pray for the 7 seekers that God will continue to reveal Himself to them and that the seeds planted will grow. Pray also for ongoing, meaningful follow-up conversations as we journey alongside them.
Our World
BGST: Equipping ambassadors for Christ in churches and marketplaces. Thank God for 36 years of God’s faithfulness to the Biblical Graduate School of Theology, who celebrated this milestone with a luncheon for partners and supporters on Sat 11 October. Pray for:
- Timely completion of the renovations for their new home “BGST NEXUS” so that they can move in before the end of 2025;
- Faithfulness to its mission: to provide Christian education and equipping for marketplace professionals, ministry leaders, and lay Christians, with a commitment to nurture intimacy with Christ, ensure cultural relevance, encourage thoughtful engagement, and offer learning that is flexible, integrative, and applicable.
Nepal Team Visits –
- Village Team – Thank God that 3 brothers from our church had smooth journey and 7 hour trek to a remote mountain village to meet our partner and encourage a brother in Christ and his family there. We praise God that this brother’s daughter committed herself to Jesus last week. Pray for this family to grow in their faith and trust in Jesus so that they can share this with their own people.
- Youth Camp Team – Thank God for 3 sisters who have joined sister JN in Nepal to conduct a junior camp for 60 participants from the partner’s centres last week. Thank God for the opportunity to train 12 youth camp leaders who helped to manage the 60 campers. This helps grow their faith and leadership abilities. The theme of camp is HIStory, learning about how God is present in their lives. May this camp deepen their experience of how God is present in their lives so that they can be firm in their faith.
- Leaders’ Development Team – Thank God for HR and CT from our church who are currently in Town B to serve and encourage the ministry leaders there. Pray specifically that the fruit of gospel transformation will be real in their lives and that they will disciple others in such a way that they too can disciple others.
