Our Church

Men’s Ministry Retreat – Let us pray for the 50 over brothers who are gathering at the annual MM retreat in Malaysia – may the Lord bring a refreshing time of rest, #getreal fellowship and feeding from the Word of God as Ps Zhiwen speaks at the retreat.

Our People

SA & J – Last Friday, 10 Oct, the Southern region of the Philippines, experienced a large earthquake measuring 7.6 magnitude. SA informed us that they were having an earthquake at 9.45am (Singapore time) and they went out of their home for about 5-10 minutes when the earth was shaking. Thank God their home and lives were safe, though some power cables hanging above the roads exploded. News reports at least 7 people killed from the quake and some damage to buildings.  Thank God for protecting SA and J through this.

Our World

Hindu peoples – Tomorrow is Deepavali, or Diwali, known as the “Festival of Lights”. “Festival of Lights” is one of Hinduism’s most significant holidays, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Pray that the Light of the World, Jesus will shine His light through His people everywhere to help them find the ultimate source of Light to bring life and healing to and blessing to the darkness in their hearts and homes. Pray that the Love and Light of Jesus would reach Hindu’s everywhere. Also that the church would PRAY MORE for them. (See announcements for a free prayer guide link)

Nepal – Thank God that the 3 teams from our church have returned safely from Nepal. The youth camp team along with leadership development Team (4 ladies, with 3 from ZB) and the village team arrived back to Singapore safely this past week. There were good reports of learning from the youths and also fruitful times of studying the word together from both groups. Pray that these lessons would not remain only in their minds, but would be lived out in their relationship with God and with others.
