Prayer Points 21 Dec 2025

Our Church

New Members – Praise God for the 29 members we are receiving into our church family today! We especially thank God for His work in bringing many forward to the waters of baptism, and for the new life He has given our brothers and sisters. Pray that as a church, we would continue to serving and walking with these new brothers and sisters in their Christian lives until the Last Day.

ZB Learning Journey/Thailand Cambodia Conflict – The ongoing conflict has led to the cancellation of our ZB Learning Journey to Thailand this December. We want to thank God for the great effort and preparation put into the trip by our 17 youths and young adults. Pray that despite the disappointment of the cancelled trip, what the team has prepared about the Christmas message can be redirected to other ministry opportunities here. Funds raised and items collected will also still be given to Youth with a Mission (YWAM) for their needs. Pray for a peaceful resolution for the conflict and for the YWAM Ubon team on the ground to be able to learn from God and be able to minister effectively to the increasing numbers of internally displaced people in the region.

Mission Trip – Pray for brother L and a team from YWAM who have left on 15th Dec for a trip to Chiang Mai until 7 February. They will be visiting the hill villages, then partnering with Mighty Oaks Foundation, local churches for Christmas outreaches and other local ministries. Pray for team unity and for doors to be open to share.

Our World

Floods in Asia- Straights Times reported on 4 Dec 2025 that cyclone induced floods have killed more than 1,300 people and caused at least $26 billion in losses since late November across parts of South and South-east Asia. Two of our Indonesian partners have collaborated to get relief supplies to affected communities in Aceh, Indonesia. The first distribution took place last Tuesday, 9 Dec. Many places were still not dried out and many homes were swept away. Thank God for provision for the relief efforts so far. Pray for the love of Christ to shine through the believers in this city.
