Our Church

Zion Bishan Chinese Services (ZBCS) Camp – This year’s ZBCS Camp is at Holiday Inn Resort, Batam, from 19 – 22 June. Pray for the safety of 97 participants, and for the messages by Preacher Jacky Chua. May the Spirit enable deep reflection and fellowship among those in our Chinese congregations.

Our People 

J and SA – Pray for the welfare of the people affected by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck the Mindanao region of the Philippines on 8 June, 2026. The death toll as of 9 June was 41. Sister SA, our cross-cultural worker and her husband J updated us while it was happening for prayer. Thank God they are not injured and her city is mostly fine. However, there was damage to roads and buildings nearer the epicentre in the South.

Our World

Philippines – Pray for our ex-ministry partner SMO (Student Missionary Outreach) based in Bacolod City, Philippines.  In the recent earthquake, Jay Ligutan, an SMO alumni in General Santos City and a teacher, died on June 8, during the devastating earthquake highlighted in the prayer point for J and SA today. It struck the province and neighboring areas. His body was recovered by rescuers from fallen debris from a 60 ft. concrete wall of a warehouse. 
He was a member of Grace Gospel Baptist Church led by SMO worker Pastor Elmer Polo and engaged to be married to the daughter of Pastor Polo. May our God of comfort embrace his family and loved ones in this time of deep sadness.
