Prayer Points 19 July 2026

Our Church

English as Second Language (ESL) Ministry – Thank God for past Monday’s registration that saw 17 newcomers for the second half of the year. Pray for the health of our volunteer teachers, and that they will continue to be sensitive to the spiritual needs of the students and be able to build relationships with them. Pray also for God’s guidance in their preparation and planning of their 10th Anniversary celebration.

Mission Prayer Night (Fridays in July) – May our hearts be soft and ears open to listen to God’s will and for us to respond in obedience. The last three Fridays saw JC (who was commissioned), KY (serving with Habibi) and EK and NK (a couple in training for service in West Asia) sharing more about their work. This coming week, sister CT will be sharing how she is beginning this journey of preparing herself for work cross-culturally.
And in the final Friday of July, Ps Chris Rajendran will share about the work among the guest workers in Terusan Recreation Centre. May more people come to pray together.

Our People

Y and ET – Pray for Y and ET, newly weds who have moved overseas since April. They are now in West Asia and exploring opportunities to serve our heavenly Father. Pray for smooth adaptation to the culture, language and life together for the Lord. May they have clarity for their future ministry and for the church here to be faithful, relevant witnesses to the Father, so that all who are lost can find Him.

Our World

Nepal – Pray for the two ministry partners that we have in this country, serving least reached areas and peoples in remote places. Challenges to regular discipleship meetings are geographical, being far and hard to reach and also spiritual. Many are Tibetan Buddhist in these areas. Pray that the few brothers and sisters who follow Jesus in the high places of this country will be grounded in God’s word and in spiritual community so that they can stand firm in the faith.
