Prayer Points 8 Mar 2026

Our Church

Children’s Discipleship (March 2026) – We pray in thanksgiving for our Children’s Ministry for our Children’s Ministry and for every teacher, leader, parent, and child God has entrusted to us. As the AM CD is studying and reflecting the Easter message throughout the month of March, we pray that our hearts will be drawn to the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We pray that parents will walk closely with their children and nurture their faith both in church and at home. We pray that this Easter season will plant seeds of faith that bear lasting fruit for God’s glory.

Seniors Retreat – Let us remember the 67 seniors at the retreat in Sabah (7-10 March).  May the Lord keep them safe and healthy, so that all of them may have a refreshing time of spiritual rest in fellowship, and from the Word as Rev Dr Tan Soo-Inn speaks. Pray that through the retreat, they will be able to put into practice various practical and spiritual lessons on following Jesus in their senior years.

Our People

Doreen Mok – Praise God that we are commissioning sister Doreen today at the Mandarin-English congregation’s 11th anniversary service, as she is officially appointed to support the work of Urban Wheat Singapore. UWS is a missions organization that seeks to sow the seed of the gospel and see it multiply in key Asian cities. Pray that she will be diligent and wise in her work, and that we as her church will faithfully support her.

Our World

Middle East Conflict – It has now been a week since coordinated military strikes between the United States, Israel and Iran (28 February 2026), marking a serious escalation in hostilities in the Middle East. Sadly, multiple reports indicate civilian harm and the loss of lives. Our ministry friends and partners in the region are praying for protection, peace and de-escalation. Let us join in with the global church to pray for peace for this region. May the saints of God be a light to the hurting and suffering in such darkness.
