Session Meeting Highlights 29 August 2021

  1. Session approved HR Committee’s recommendation to add a new staff benefit. Effective 1 July 2021, staff or their children who utilizes our sanctuary for Holy Matrimony will have the rental charges waived.
  2. Formal applications have been made to the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) for Zion Bishan’s land lease renewal. Do pray for God’s favour and continued provision.
  3. While Singapore’s situation is controlled, many of our mission partners’ countries are in turmoil and hardship. Session has so far approved from the MRF the amount of $108,715.13 as relief to our partners in nine countries to alleviate their suffering.
  4. A combined Session/BOD/Staff Retreat is planned, God-willing, on 27 November 2021.
  5. Session approved the following in-person worship arrangements for this September & October with the guiding principles of safety for the unvaccinated people, equal opportunity to return for in-person service, and enabling more people to return more often.
    • 1st & 3rd Sundays: 50 pax, unvaccinated/vaccinated persons
    • 2nd & 4th Sundays: 250 pax, all vaccinated persons & children 12 and below.
    • 1st & 2nd Sundays:  Holy Communion will be served
