Our Church
For ACM this afternoon – let us pray that this local body of Christ will continue walking according to the calling that God has called us to. Pray for every ACM to be an opportunity for the Lord to grow our hearts together towards the vision He has for Zion Bishan!
June Sermon Series – Next month, we explore in our sermon series what it means that the gospel really is for everyone and anyone regardless of demographics, backgrounds and unique challenges. May the Spirit help us grow in conviction of the good news as we’ve been hearing in Romans and help us minister to one another better as the family of Christ.
CD Teachers’ Training – Our Children’s Discipleship classes will begin walking through the letter of Romans from July 2025. To teach its truths to our children well, the teachers of our congregations will gather (8 June for the 830/1030, and 31 May for the 430) for a time of equipping, learning and praying. May the the Lord speak through Romans to build and strengthen the faith of our children and our teachers, so that they may believe in their hearts that the Gospel brings salvation and live unashamed of it!
Rest – As many of our AGs and our Children’s Discipleship classes take a break from regular meetings over the June holidays, may the Lord refresh our AG Leaders and CD Teachers with physical and spiritual rest. Pray especially that the Spirit of God will help each of them rest in their identity as precious children loved by the Father.
Our World
Indonesia – One partner recently reported that they were thankful for many from the majority who have become believers. Their aim is not to just add members to current house churches but to see a ‘Church Planting Movement’ happen in this group. In order to have movement, they would like to see more believers empowered to be able make disciples themselves. The aim is to empower believers to develop to become leaders. Pray for the training for leaders that is being planned for next month in 2 locations, that attendees will “catch the heart of God” for the lost. May these leaders grow to lead their house churches so that members there will reach their friends and families for God.
