Our Church
AG Leaders – In the coming weeks, many of our AGs will round up their journey in Romans. Thank God for speaking to us through His word, and through the patient, faithful ministry of our AG Leaders! Let us pray for them to have a good period of rest in the Lord as the year ends.
BHID ministry – Thank God for Bishan Home for the Intellectually Disabled (BHID) our neighbour. BHID celebrates it’s 27th anniversary of operations this week. Pray that the staff and residents will be love and light of Christ to our special needs community here in Singapore. Pray for perseverance and strength for the volunteers and staff as they provide loving and good care for its residents.
Seniors360 – Please pray for our fellow seniors who will be going on a day trip organised by seniors360 ministry to Kulai on 8th Nov. May the Lord bless them with a smooth and safe journey. Pray that their time together will be filled with joy and the warmth of Christ’s love in their fellowship. May they encourage and care for one another, strengthening their bonds of friendship through kindness, gratitude and shared faith.
Our People
Reggie Ng – We thank God for our local mission worker and brother who has been serving in the Poly Ministry at Singapore Youth for Christ (SYFC) as ministry coordinator. Their ministry’s desire in this season is to collaborate with local churches to better reach non-believing youth with the Gospel. He requests prayer for wisdom from above, and resources both financial and otherwise as they also consider areas like student leadership development and new evangelism approaches.
Our World
India – We thank God for 3 from our church who are leaving tonight to visit our partner in North India. They will be there for a week. Thank God for our partner, who is faithfully helping a network of local pastors to thrive in ministry and be sustainable. Pray for the 10-month, residential youth discipleship programme that seeks to grow the next generation of leaders in these village churches. The partner also started a school serving preschoolers and primary school students in the nearby villages. Pray that God will give a fruitful time of fellowship and mutual learning in the Word for the pastors and young disciples and training for the teachers in the school.
Nepal – Tomorrow a group of 4, will be heading to visit a partner who cares for rescued children and youth. Among them are about 6-9 children and youth with special needs. Pray for a good time of learning and fellowship together. May the Lord grow their faith and love in this community. May the group have safety in all their travels, team unity, flexibility and humility as they serve.
