Our Church

Hokkien Service Anniversary – We thank God for His faithful leading of the Hokkien Service through the years, guiding us in worship, nurturing us in discipleship, and sending us out in loving outreach. We praise Him for sustaining this service as a spiritual home where His Word is honored and His name is glorified. We pray especially for the many seniors who attend regularly, asking that they may grow as true disciples of Christ, rooted in faith, filled with joy, and strengthened by the Holy Spirit. May their lives become living testimonies of God’s grace and faithfulness, encouraging their families, friends, and the wider community to know and follow Jesus.

English as Second Language (ESL) – Thank God for this ministry through which many ladies can be a light for Christ to other ladies beyond our church walls. Pray for His Spirit’s power to renew and strengthen them in their respective roles, giving them joy and purpose in this new year. Amidst the challenges each of them may face, pray that they will be able to rest in the Lord and rely on Him only.

Our Denomination

Emmanuel BP – We thank God for a smooth ECM last Sunday at our sister church, where the new budget was passed and Ps David Leong was elected for a 2nd term – both with 100% of the votes!

Our World

Lebanon – Pray for the plight of Syrian refugees in Lebanon, they cannot work because they are illegal, and many cannot return to Syria where their minority faith would be persecuted. Hence, many cannot afford food, medicine and rent. Pray for the ministry of our partner who is reaching out to these communities to give short term relief help. Pray for the provision of financial resources as well as boldness of spirit for their staff who go regularly to various cities in Lebanon to share Christ and see communities of Jesus followers established.
