Prayer Points 15 Feb 2026
Our Church
Terusan Guest Workers Ministry – Praise the Lord for His grace in sustaining this ministry – workers have been reached with the gospel, their fellowship strengthened, and lives touched by Christ’s love. Pray that these workers may continue growing in faith and find belonging in God’s family, for protection and well-being as they labour and work far from home. Pray also for the ministry’s leaders and volunteers to serve with wisdom and strength and for growing and fruitful partnerships that will extend God’s love.
Catechism Class – Praise God for the 26 catechumens who began this round of our catechism class yesterday, led by 6 of our members as table hosts! May the Lord guide them into a season of embracing and enjoying their union with Christ. Pray also that they will find a welcome into the Zion Bishan family both in their congregations and eventually in Action Groups.
Our People
KY – Pray for Sister KY, who has been serving the mental and social health needs of refugees in West Asia. Her father was recently diagnosed with cancer, therefore she has come back to Singapore to help care for him. Pray that he may come to know and experience the truth and love of Christ and come to a saving faith in Him.
Our World
Bangladesh – Almost 128 million Bangladeshis went to the polls on Thursday, 12 Feb to elect new political leaders after an uprising of the people toppled it’s long-time leader in August 2024 (Reuters). The top concern for voters is corruption and the need to deal with inflation and unemployment. Pray that a government would be elected that would serve its people with wisdom and equity, that the church may lead a peaceful and quiet life to proclaim and display Christ. Only 0.5% of the population are Christians (Joshua Project) – may our God strengthen them to persevere in faithfulness and love in the midst of this to be salt and light in this populous nation.
