Our Church
Good Friday – May the Lord help us meditate upon Christ’s death for us on the Cross this Good Friday, as we commemorate the wonderful news of our Savior’s sacrifice together with brothers and sisters from other BP churches. Pray that this coming week will also be a time of unhurried and prayerful reflection upon our dear Lord Jesus.
Bishan Home – The residents have been facing outbreaks of flu and gastroenteritis. Pray for God’s healing hand to grant recovery and bring a swift end to the spread of illness. Pray also for the staff and caregivers during this challenging period. Thank God for the helpers on weekday outings, ensuring that each resident is supported and cared for. Pray for more volunteers to be serving from a heart of compassion and joy.
Sin Ming 410 – Thank God for relationships built with residents over recent years through monthly visits to this block of flats. We thank God also for church members and friends who contributed items for the bazaar this Saturday (28 Mar), and availed themselves to be there to share the hospitality and welcome of Christ, many households were blessed with clothing. Pray for more volunteers to join this outreach and relationship building ministry.
Our World
Nepal – Pray for the team of 2 sisters who are leaving for Nepal this coming Tuesday. They will be spending time with 12 to 15 of their workers who are focused on reaching Tibetan ethnic background peoples that live in very remote parts of the Himalayas. May it be a good time of mutual encouragement and learning. Pray for good health and safety in the air and on land as weather can change and affect safety easily in this region.
