Our Church

Catechism Class Retreat – Thank God for the 30 over participants who went away for yesterday’s retreat. It was a time of hearing the Father’s voice through His word, fellowshipping through gospel conversation and over food. May the Lord continue to minister His presence to each catechumen and grow their assurance in Jesus, as they consider joining our church family this May on Pentecost Sunday!

Domestic Helpers’ Fellowship (DHF) – Thank God for our sisters who meet weekly to read and learn from the Bible together. Pray for a fresh desire to know the Lord daily and His Spirit’s understanding to uncover and understand the mysteries of the Bible. May they surrender all and follow Jesus, offering their whole life as a pleasing sacrifice.

Remember our folks who are ill, unable to come in-person and can only worship via livestream. If you are able to, call or even pay them a visit.

Our World

Nepal – SQ returns from Kathmandu today after almost 2 weeks. Thank God for a good training for ministry workers in this network of Tibetan ethnic background believers. Pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ as they persevere to share the gospel in this high, mountainous areas where discipleship is very difficult.

Lebanon – This past Wednesday, more than 100 coordinated, Israeli airstrikes were reported in Lebanon. More than 250 people were killed and over 1,100 were wounded (Reuters). Our partner at Life Centre, Beirut had to close down their centre as a precaution. Hospitals are full of injured and more are expected to come in as authorities search through the rubble. A national day of mourning has been declared. Please pray for the mercy and the peace of Lebanon and the region. Let us also uphold our brothers and sisters at the Life Centre in prayer, for God’s comfort on them as they minister to others.
