Prayer Points 3 May 2026

Our Church

A&A Building Project – We thank God for His daily mercies upon all our workers and for good team work among all involved in the project. Noisy work will be carried out involving hacking of some walls and tiles on the 5th storey throughout the coming week.

Please pray:

  • that users in church as well as neighbours will be able to tolerate the noise disturbances well.
  • for the safety of all the workers as well as users in the building.
  • for good weather during the working hours so that work can proceed unhindered.

Our People

Sister Gina – Remember Sister Gina in prayer. She’s not able to return for in-person worship since 2020 because of her illness. Though her illness has taken a turn, we thank God that her faith remains rooted in Christ and firmly looking forward to being with her Lord. Pray for God’s grace to fill each of her days to sustain her especially when the medicines and pain bring about great physical discomfort. Pray also for her dad and sister who are supporting her through these difficult times.

Sister Sim Nga Hoon – We thank God for answering prayers for this long-anticipated Whipple procedure to proceed on Tuesday (28 April). The surgery took 9 hours and we thank God for many who participated in the prayer watch throughout the surgery.

Please continue to pray for Nga Hoon’s recovery, in particular please

  • pray against these post-surgery complications: such as bleeding, infection, blood clots, blood flow to intestines impeded and leaking from rejoined areas and stomach.
  • pray for restful and restorative sleep each night
  • pray for God’s added grace and strength upon Nga Hoon, her family members and the medical team throughout this recovery period.

Our People

Nepal – Thank God for 2 fruitful trips to 2 Nepal partners. We were able to learn more about the life and ministry challenges of our ministry partners. One of these is how few believers there are among Tibetan ethnic background peoples and how remote their villages are which mean good discipleship follow up is very difficult. Hence, many do fall away. Pray that the believers here would grow mature and strong.
