Our Church
Church Camp – We thank God for the return of 500 campers who spent 4 days together in Desaru, making time to engage with God. Do pray for the follow up of those who indicated they want to either grow in their walk with the Lord or learn more of what it means to rest in Christ.
Father’s Day – May the Lord help the fathers among us lead and love their families as Christ loved the church, and turn to Him in their failures. For husbands in a season of lament and longing for children, may our God of comfort graciously show Himself to them. We lift up grandfathers too – may the Lord use them to pass on the gospel to their grandchildren. Praise God for many spiritual fathers in our midst, may they be as “fathers who deal with their own children, encouraging, comforting and urging younger men to live lives worthy of God” (1 Thess. 2:11-12).
Our People
RN & JN – They left yesterday for a trip to Mongolia till 28 June. They are bringing a group of Polytechnic graduate interns to visit a church there and help with their youth outreach. They are going with their organisation Singapore Youth for Christ (YFC). Pray for good health, safe journey and fruitful ministry with Mongolia YFC. May the team learn much about what it means to bring the gospel to people from other cultures.
Our Denomination
Galilee BP – Pray for the church as they work through their land lease renewal – that it may be a spiritual exercise as much as a physical one. Pray also for God to provide a new Mandarin Pastor very soon!
