Prayer Points 28 Dec 2025
Our Church
January Sermon Series – Let’s pray that the Lord will grow our understanding of what it means to #GetRest, as we as a church family hear Him speak through the January sermon series. May the Lord prepare us for the rest of 2026 through the sermons.
Terusan Outreach – Thanks be to God for how He has led and immensely blessed this guest worker ministry through 2025! It has been a joy to see many men eager to learn about Jesus. Pray for our plans to start small-group Bible studies to help these men grow in their faith in the new year. Pray and ask God with us for more volunteers (especially Tamil-speaking brothers) and for continued favour with the Terusan management so that our Sunday services can continue unhindered.
ME Youth Camp – Thank God for a fruitful 4 day 3 night camp with 21 campers! Thank God for good weather and for the messages shared from the book of Philippians by our apprentices, Judah, Melvin and Jen Wei. Pray that the campers would continue to live out what they have learnt through this camp.
Our People
EN, NI, CL, JC – Pray for EN, NI, CL as they attend their missions organisation’s once in 3 years gathering of all workers serving in the MENA region (28 Dec – 2 Jan). Pray for good divine connections that lead to open doors for strategic ministry for 5 other Singaporeans to be sent out long term. Pray that they will be an encouragement towards the existing frontline workers. CL & 1 colleague proceed immediately after to another nearer region conference (3 – 5 Jan). JC will join them from 1 – 5 Jan. Pray for journey mercies, strength, health, deep conversations and protection of their loved ones as they travel.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP – We thank God for the 5 new members that have joined the church this Christmas day. Quite a few young people attended a catechism class over the last few months and we are hoping that the others will get baptised or received into membership soon! Pray for the newly formed preaching team that will be preaching through the book of Isaiah from Feb 2026 onwards.
