Prayer Points 28 Jun 2026
Our Church
Missions Month 2026: Your Servant is Listening – This July, as we especially ponder on our posture as servants, pray that we will be attentive to the voice of our Lord. Pray that He will reveal to each one of us how we can be participating in His Mission wherever He has placed us. May each of our responses be one faithful obedience to our Master and our King.
Understanding Dementia Workshop (11 July) – We thank God for placing those with dementia on our hearts, and for the many who have signed up thus far. Pray that God will use this workshop that will be conducted by Koinonia Inclusion Network to equip our church to be a dementia-inclusive church, so that we as God’s family here in Zion Bishan will actively love and remember people with dementia – just as God does.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP – We thank God that regular training has begun for new cell group leaders and even preachers! Do pray that a new tenant can be found for the B1 industrial property very soon!.
Our World
Lebanon – Last week, a new 60-day agreement between the United States and Iran went into effect, with the hope that it will lead to a broader de-escalation across the MENA region, including Lebanon. Our ministry contact in Lebanon reported that though this is a step in the right direction, this agreement may bring relief without resolution. This is because the deeper issues that impact Lebanon are not adequately addressed. However, they are grateful for any step that may spare lives, reduce bombardment, and allow families to breathe again after months of fear and displacement. Please pray with Lebanon to have lasting peace, not merely a pause in violence and for churches serving the displaced and vulnerable.
