Prayer Points 4 Oct 2026

Our Church

Youths – As we enter exams season, pray especially for our youths taking national exams this year (currently in midst of N levels, and O levels starting). Pray that they not only remain calm and confident, but also be trusting in the Lord whatever the outcomes.

Thank God for seeing the P6s through PSLE the past week. As they transit into the new environments of Sec school and Youth Ministry, pray that they will adapt well and continually be engaged with Jesus and His church.

Pray also for our youths’ parents, for continued patience and joy as we model the Christian faith to our young ones. With workshops like the Cyberwellness one held today (4 Oct), we want to also be encouraging one another in this journey of discipling our youths, such that they can grow to love Jesus and learn from Him even amidst worldly culture and influences.

Antioch Summit – Thank God for the Summit which took place over the past few days. Pray for the 1,000 over participants, as well as the churches and organizations they represent – that they will make it their ambition to see the name of Jesus proclaimed in places of the world where Christ is not known (Romans 15:20-21). Pray for effective follow up with all participants who are seriously discerning God’s call on their lives to serve Him in cross-cultural overseas missions.

Children’s Ministry – Thank God for His guidance, protection, and blessing over the Children’s Day Picnic held yesterday, and especially for the fellowship between the dozens of parents/children with their CD teachers! We pray that the joy and fellowship shared will continue in their lives, and strengthen the partnership we share to disciple each child to delight in Jesus.

ZBCS Mid-Autumn Outreach – Thank God for last Saturday’s Mid-Autumn Outreach, for the smooth running of the entire event, and for the many members who served and participated — from the performers and ushers to the prayer warriors behind the scenes. Praise God that over 300 guests and members gathered together, and more than 70 were first-time visitors! A few also indicated they prayed to receive Jesus that night, and others expressed interest to find out more about Him – pray for the Spirit of God to guide our follow-up, and for the seeds sown to bear lasting fruit in His time.

Our World

The Suffering Church – Interserve Singapore is partnering with our church to pray for the suffering Church (this Fri, 9 Oct, 7.30pm) – specifically the Church in two countries – one in South Asia and another in East Asia. Pray that more from ZB and beyond will gather in prayer. Church, let us take time to seek our heavenly Father and pray for our brothers and sisters who face many challenges often simply because they following Jesus.
