Our Church
Peer Support Training – Over the next two Saturdays, 5 of our members will be a part of PS training. May the Lord grow these members in His word and in ministry to the wider Body – as they are equipped as first responders to provide emotional support to fellow members in challenging life situations or crises. May each be confident to help strugglers and sufferers seek help and hear from the Good Shepherd.
Our People
Indonesia Trip – 7 members of our church leave on 23 July for a 5-day visit to encourage alumni from our missiology school serving in Indonesia. They serve in various ministries reaching out to the majority group here. We shall be meeting with 34 adults and 16 children. Pray that we will have a blessed time of fellowship and spiritual refreshment.
Our World
Nepal – Our partner in West Nepal reports that this past Thursday, they cultivated 10 acres of land in town B and 15 acres of land in town N with rice paddy seedlings. They are praying for sufficient rain for these seedlings. The children in these centres depend on these crops for sustenance throughout the year. May the Lord also continue to grow the faith and love for Jesus in all these centres in West Nepal.
India – We announced on 6 July about the home-going of our mission partner, Brother M. Together with his wife, Sister J, they have a network of centres that provide daycare for needy children in various Indian cities. Sister J is now the Director for this network in Kolkata. Pray for the organisation and its board to find a way to transit well into the future under the Lord’s guidance and provision.
