Our Church

Indonesia Post-trip Sharing – In August 2025, a group from our church went to Indonesia.  They explored what it means for us as obedient followers of Jesus to care for creation and for people.  Today, a post trip sharing at 2pm will allow the team to share with the rest of the church on what were some of their learning points.  Pray that this would grow our heart to understand our God given role in stewarding creation and its place in God’s kingdom.

A&A Building Project – Do pray for the consultants and contractor as they work on finalising plans and documents in the coming week for submission to BCA for the Permits for Demolition and Permit to Commence Structural Works.  Pray for prompt and favourable approvals for various applications to the different authorities. Continue to uphold all who work on this project, including workers who are already on site, for their safety and their salvation.

Our World

Nepal – (Wiki) On 4 Sep, the Nepal government ordered the shutdown of 26 social media platforms for failing to register under its new rules. As a result, large scale demonstrations (by students and young citizens) took place across Nepal against the social media ban. CNA, 9 Sep, reported that this later developed into violence, burning and ransacking of politician homes and buildings. Subsequently, Nepal’s PM and various ministers resigned leaving a leadership vacuum in the country amid the political uncertainty. Pray for the country and its people that peace be restored soon. We thank God that our small team of 2 who are in the country visiting our partners is safe in a small town.  Pray for continued safety and wisdom for the team and leaders as we seek God’s will in this complex situation.
