Prayer Points 20 November 2022

Our Church

Enabling MinistryIn our ongoing ministry efforts thus far, we thank the Lord for our partnership with Koinonia Inclusion Network (KIN) and their guidance. Pray too that the Leadership Engagement Workshop that will be held this Saturday (26 Nov) will be a fruitful time of learning and growing in our understanding of the need for disability inclusion within our Zion Bishan family.

Our People

Emmanuel BP Church is a 45 year old sister church along Pemimpin Drive (some 2km from Zion Bishan). It is blessed to have purchased its premises in a modern 999year leasehold industrial building more than 10 years back. With a congregation of just slightly over 60 members, pray for its efforts to attract & grow numerically with new and younger people to serve God’s mission in the next generation. Pray for Ps David Leong as he ministers to this congregation.

Indonesia Trip
– Thank God for the opportunity for Sharon Q, Grace K and Nurman K. to visit ministry work in Indonesia next week. Pray for journey mercies and fruitful time of visiting various partners. May this trip help us know how to bless each other more in the work of the Kingdom.

Our World

India – Praise God for various ministry efforts to reach the vast harvest in India. One partner reported growth in their schools and hence the need for more committed teachers to meet this growth. Another partner in the Northeast is looking to help take over a slum ministry. Pray that this transition would be smooth and for the little community of believers here to grow. For another partner, pray that a health training for pastors that is being planned will bless remote villages in various places. Pray that the right resource persons can be found for this training.

Nepal – Praise God that the last member of the Nepal Mission team has returned safely this week. Pray a smooth transition back to Singapore and consolidation of all that the trip has taught the various ones in the team. Thank God for the opportunity to encourage, share and pray with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as they minister to their own people in various cities, towns and villages in West Nepal. May the believers here grow firm and strong in their faith.
