Prayer Points 5 Apr 2026

Our Church

English as Second Language (ESL) – Thank God for our teachers, many of whom have been faithfully serving year after year, availing themselves to share Christ’s love to the ladies on Monday mornings through journeying together in friendship and teaching English. Pray for a deeper reliance on the Holy Spirit to refresh and renew our teachers weekly, and to entrust the work of their hands to Him that they may bear fruit in His time.

Christianity Explored (CE) – Thank God for our 10 table hosts and 3 sessions we had together to think about evangelism and intentionally journeying with others in order to help them take steps closer to receiving Jesus as King. The next run begins this Wed, 8 Apr. Pray for us to be guided by His Spirit, to be warm in our welcome and displaying the love of Christ. Pray also for more seekers and friends to sign up.

Our People

Pray for those who are going through chronic and critical illnesses. Remember also those who are grieving the loss of loved ones. May the messages of promise and hope fill their hearts, minds and homes this Good Friday and Easter season. Pray for God’s healing grace. Pray particularly for strength and mercy when the dark nights loom and with a faithful trust that all is in God’s gracious Hand and God’s good Plan.

Our World

Indonesia – Here’s one impact story of our partner’s ministry to the visually challenged. Thank God for Sister W, who is visually challenged herself who came to know the Lord through this ministry. She was filled with love for her family after that. Inspired by the humility and love of Jesus in the bible’s account of the washing His disciple’s feet, she decided to do the same for her sister and shared the gospel with her sister while doing so. As a result, her sister has begun to read the bible with sister W’s mentor. Pray for this ministry to the blind to extend beyond the individuals coming to the Lord to their families and friends.
