Prayer Points 20 Sep 2026

Our Church

Tamil Congregation – As we celebrate 43 years of God’s faithfulness this Sunday, let us pray for His continued guidance and renewal of our Tamil Congregation. May God help us grow in Christ, in His Word, and in love and unity, and use us to reach more people for His glory.

Christianity Explored (CE) – Thank God for the 5 seekers, members and friends who have signed up, and for the opportunity to help others get to know Jesus through the Gospel of Mark. As the course begins this coming Wednesday evening 23 Sept, pray for the table hosts as they come alongside the seekers in their journey, that they will do so in God’s love, relying solely on His Spirit.

Brother Ng Wai Kit has joined staff this past week as a part-time interim Church Admin Manager. He will assist our current Admin Manager Adam Peh as the HR requirements of our Staff Team grow. Please pray for Wai Kit as he begins this role, and for God to provide the right person in the long run to fill the role of Senior Admin Manager (see announcements).

Our People

Our Cross-Cultural worker, KY returned to her field of service this past week after spending the last six months here in Singapore following her father’s illness and eventual Homegoing. She would appreciate our prayers for:

  • a smooth transition back to the field and her work
  • overall team’s health and unity
  • breakthroughs in locals’ acceptance of Christ
  • salvation of her family

Our Denomination

BPCIS – Our denomination celebrated their 15th anniversary yesterday, where we were all exhorted to strengthen one another as sister BP churches. A new video detailing the BPCIS history was produced. Also launched is an Endowment Fund that we hope will eventually ensure each church can afford to support their full time workers.

Our World

Lebanon – Our partner in Beirut reports of God’s blessings to the children, youth and young adults at Life Centre through the summer camps.  For the children, they learnt more about the theme “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made”. For the youth, it was “Your Will be done” and for the young adults, “Strive for Rest”. May the fellowship, prayer and teaching times deepen the faith of each child, youth and young adult so that they will pass this truth to others in their communities.
