Pray for the hearts of the leaders as they prepare, and for all the AGs as they better understand God’s awesome and exciting plan unfold from the beginning, and that this will grow their love for Jesus and the Gospel.

Our World

COVID-19 Pandemic –Unequal access to vaccines has led to new variants, namely Delta and Omicron. These have in turn, brought lives and economies around the world again to grinding halt, according to the UN Chief. Hence, his appeal for vaccine equality at the virtual Davos forum this past week (The Straits Times, 19 Jan). In Singapore, we are also experiencing rising cases due to the more transmissible Omicron variant. Pray for God’s wisdom for business and national leaders to work together to enable vaccine equality.

Tibetan-Himalayan Peoples –Today’s mission focus is on this frontier people cluster in China, Nepal, Bhutan, Mongolia. There are very few Christians, only 0.005% and they are often ostracised and face many trials. Pray that more Christians will go to these regions to share the life and light of Christ. These peoples follow a form of Tibetan Buddhism and usually have nomadic lifestyles in harsh environments facing rapid modernisation, urbanisation and questions of identity. Pray that the good news of the gospel will not only transform their worldview but also their communities, bringing life-changing hope of God’s kingdom and love to these peoples.
