Our Church

ZB 31st Anniversary

  1. Thank God for leading Zion Bishan through 31 years as a church family! Praise God for the many members and visitors who came for the thanksgiving service yesterday, bringing together our family in a time of worship in different languages.
  2. We also thank God for calling Ps Danny into pastoral ministry, as he was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel during the service.
  3. Pray for our church in the coming season ahead, as Ps Zhiwen and Ps Paul shared yesterday, that this would be a time for Zion Bishan to “be still and know that the LORD is God” (Ps 46:10).

A&A Building Project – We thank God for the progress thus far, please pray for:

  1. Permits for demolition & structural work to be obtained soon.
  2. Safety of workers & users on site.
  3. A favourable response to our application for deferment of Land Betterment Charge (known previously as development charge for additional GFA).
  4. Salvation of all involved in the project – for prepared hearts and opportunities to engage in meaningful gospel conversions with different ones.

Our Denomination

Our sister church, Mount Carmel BP, thanks God for calling and equipping 2 new elders, Eld David Chua and Eld Tim Liu, who were ordained today. Pray that God will continue to nurture their walk with Him, protect their families and grant wisdom and discernment as they shepherd the flock.

Our World

Lebanon – We thank God for our partner in Beirut, where their church, in the city centre, is a warm community centre space for various children, youth and adult activities. Life Kitchen was always a space to welcome refugees and host conferences. It became a place in July 2025, where every meal served directly supports the church’s outreach ministries. This has been a bit of a rocky road but they are trusting God to continue to provide. Their other centre in the Beqaa valley has also recently hosted a session where women and their husbands could come to have warm dinner fellowship and conversation about faith. Thank God they reported “it was a warm, fruitful time, full of connection and openness.
