Prayer Points 26 Apr 2026
Our Church
Heartlands Bible Discovery – Thank God for one year of this ministry’s running, where its main goal is to enable more to come into relationship with God through bible stories, worship and praying together in community. Thank God for our volunteers and for the different ones we have been able to bless, as well as the many lessons learnt this past year. Pray that we will continue looking to God, seeking His wisdom and entrust the next steps and plans of this ministry to Him.
Youth Ministry – Thank God for the journey through John’s Gospel this year for our Youth Fellowship as our staff team continues to give monthly talks from the Word. Just as they have heard from John 3 yesterday, may the Lord bring new life to those who have yet to trust the words of Christ. Pray also for our Youth Discipleship groups – as some of them walk through God’s salvation story in the Old Testament this year. May our Father sustain each YD Leader and encourage them in this ministry!
Our World
India – Pray for the tea shop business that our ministry partner has started here to sustain the workers in the ministry. Due to the fuel crisis, their tea shop has not been able to sell hot drinks, since 9 April. This greatly affects their business sustainability. Pray that God will help them find a way through this and not to be discouraged. They live in one of the most populated and difficult regions for the gospel.
Democratic Republic of the Congo – In the past month and over Holy Week, violence against majority-Christian communities has spiked (OpenDoors). More than 80 brothers and sisters have been killed, and an estimated 600 kidnapped by extremist forces. More than 31,000 have been displaced from homes because of the violence. Pray for wisdom for authorities to take effective and courageous measures to ensure the safety of the population. Pray for comfort for the bereaved and kidnapped, encouragement for the displaced, and for the Lord to meet their needs in different ways.
