Prayer Points 29 June 2025
Our Church
Outgoing Apprentices – We praise God for Dn John and Huiqing who have completed one year of their apprenticeship! Let’s ask that our Father continue to ordain every step of their paths and help them enjoy gospel ministry in this next phase of their life and vocational journey. We also thank God for our brother Bernard who, having finished 1.5 years of his apprenticeship, now takes on the role of admin staff for our mandarin congregation! May our Lord keep working in him and through him.
Church Camp (20-23 June) – Thank God for time away as one spiritual family, where we listened and reflected on God’s Word, and each one of us challenged to see ourselves as disciples being sent out by Him to partner in His Mission wherever He places us. Pray for continued conversations and a constant encouragement for us all to be salt and light, a Kingdom People for Him.
Our People
SA and J – We thank God for the official commissioning last Sunday at church camp of SA as a Zion Bishan Mission Worker. Together with J, she is sent with an agency that will continue to guide and support the both of them on the field in SEA. It was good to have them at camp, to meet up with them, hear their story and to pray for them (they’ll also be sharing and prayed for at the 430 congregation today)! May SA and J have the Lord’s wisdom, strength and direction as they step forth into His harvest work to the majority people in this unreached region. Thank God for good progress in terms of language learning for SA and time for J to develop certain vocational skills for the field.
KY – Pray for the provision of a good rescheduled flight for her to West Asia as her current flight back was cancelled due to the ongoing conflict in this region which has resulted in the closure of airspace at her destination. Thank God for a good time of connection with family and friends in her time back with us. May her work supporting the mental health and social needs of refugees in this region show forth God’s love and light to them.
Our World
Greece Trip – An 8-person team led by Dn Lim Nan, comprising 4 ZB members, left on Wednesday for a 10-day missions learning journey. Pray for a fruitful learning experience as they spend time with refugees and workers in Athens and Kos island, and that they be a blessing to the suffering amongst these groups of the last and least.
