Prayer Points 16 Nov 2025

Our Church

A&A Building Project – We praise God that our application for Demolition Works has been approved this past week!  Please continue to pray for:

  • approval for structural works to be released soon;
  • God’s favour on our application for deferment of Land Betterment Charge;
  • Safety of the workers and all users on site;
  • Good coordination between all involved so that the building work will run smoothly and effectively.

Tuition Ministry   As they mark the year-end with a celebration this coming Thursday (20 Nov), praise God for the end of another academic year, and for the faithfulness of our volunteer teachers who have been journeying with the students. Pray for the relationships and friendships forged to continue, and for good rest for our teachers in the holidays. May their labour of love help the students see and experience the love and welcome that Jesus brings. Pray too for more members to sign up to reach students from challenged backgrounds in this Home Missions ministry.

Our World

India – Thank God for a smooth and safe trip for our team of 3 who visited a partner here. They were glad to encourage a network of Pastors in a hard place with teaching from Acts. For their youth who had given 10 months to learn about God and other skills, they clarified their calling to God and to His Kingdom. For the Principals and teachers of their school, they were given tools to be help them offer a good education to children in a village area. May all that has been taught grow God’s Kingdom in this part of India.

Nepal – The last team of 4 has arrived back safely from Nepal where they were able to spend time with the children and youth from a few of our partner’s centres. Many of whom are from ethnic groups that have very few Christians. Thank God for a good time of encouraging them in the Word and the Lord. It was particularly meaningful to see the impact of the special needs training that was given to one centre that has a small group of special needs children in past years. Pray that those in these centres especially of Tibetan ethnic origins will be inspired to be obedient disciples of Jesus and to share this with their own people

Philippines – Pray for our former mission partner, SMO (Student Missionary Outreach) in Bacolod. They have sustained minor damages to their SMO Centre, due to a tree falling down last week when 2 super-typhoons came through the country last week. They were without power for about 9 days until 13 Nov. Pray for provision for the repairs of the centre’s roof and gutters and for the families in Negros islands where the damage to homes was more severe. They reported on 13 Nov that another typhoon is coming towards the Visayas region where they are, so please continue to pray for protection for the communities affected.
