Our Church
ZB Chinese Services 35th Anniversary – Thank God for leading our Chinese services for the past 35 years, starting from 1991 as a Cantonese Service at Ling Kwang Home. From there, the Chinese services has grown to 4 services today comprising of Cantonese-Mandarin (10.45am), Mandarin (8.30am), Mandarin-English (10.30am) and Hokkien (9am). May God continues to lead our Chinese Services to grow his disciples and reach out to the Chinese speaking communities in our neighbourhood and beyond.
Domestic Helpers’ Fellowship (DHF) – Pray for our DHF sisters that they will grow in love for Christ and find their identity, comfort, and strength in the Lord, especially as they live and work far from home. May God strengthen them emotionally and spiritually. We lift up also the leaders and staff who serve in this ministry. May God give them wisdom, compassion and renew their love for Christ as they care for others. May this ministry continue to point people to Christ.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP – Pray for the newly formed preaching team, as they preach through the first part of the book of Isaiah starting today. We thank God for the two cell groups that have started as well. May more come to visit and support the church growth!
Our World
Philippines – We thank God for the ministry of a former mission partner, Student Missionary Outreach (SMO) in the Philippines as they reach out faithfully to many students in High Schools and Colleges in various parts of the country. They conduct regular Bible studies in these campuses and also have a structured leadership training programme as well as Bible Training Institute for students who have interest in serving in gospel ministry. This week, Brother Fred, from this ministry was in Singapore for a missions conference and we are grateful for the time to reconnect in person and have fellowship with him. SMO has also received many youth teams from ZB in the past. May God continue to provide for the needs of this ministry, especially for the construction of a large meeting hall at their campus, the Promised Land, in Bacolod City.
