Our Church

Basic AG Leaders Equipping Course (BAGLE) – Praise God for the 8 participants who completed the BAGLE course that ended with a half-day retreat last Saturday! Pray that the Lord will continue speaking to them through what they’ve learnt about personal discipleship, AG ministry, and guarding themselves from burnout. Do pray also that our Father will also guide some of them who are considering taking on a formal AG leadership position next year. May the reality of Jesus, their sacrificial Good Shepherd always free and empower them to serve Him and His people.

Missions Month Friday Prayer & Praise — Praise God for the many who came and for the stories of faith and obedience of individuals who are intentionally preparing themselves or are already on mission in their various contexts and ways.
Pray that as a church and all of God’s people, we will continually seek after our Father’s heart for the lost. Pray too for sensitivity to the Spirit’s leading in opening our eyes to see where there still is Gospel need, and for courage to partner with Him in His work, wherever He calls and places each one of us in this season of life.

Our People

BPCIS Leaders’ Retreat 2023 – Thank God for the 74 pastors, elders and ministry staff that came to strengthen bonds with one another. We had many hours of learning how to make discipleship reproducible in our churches and there were literally 100s of points to discuss and consider from our speaker!

BP Pastor’s Wives’ Inaugural Fellowship – We praise God for the 19 ladies that met for the first time, at the new Hermon BP premises! This was a deeply needed sharing session for these godly women – who quietly serve God unnoticed – to share their lives and pray for one another. It was so meaningful that plans are already in the works for further sessions! Read more about it here:

Our World

India – Praise God that our bible college partner (in NE India) is celebrating its 42nd anniversary and ZB is able to journey with this partner since Ps Quek, ZB’s Pastor Emeritus first connected with the founding pastor C (senior) more than 20 years ago. At the age of 85, Ps C (senior) continues to serve actively in a city church. Pray for this partner and the Hindi speaking workers they train yearly. May God continue to bless and provide for this partner, even as they face many local challenges given the current religious climate and financial needs in the midst of global rising inflation.

Myanmar  Since the military coup on 1 Feb 2021, Myanmar has faced much civil and internal strife. Pray for peace to return to the country and for local Christians to continue to put their trust in Jesus. May God continue to enable His followers there to share and demonstrate His love to their neighbours.
