Our Church
Romans – As we resume hearing from our Father in the letter of Romans, may the Spirit enable our ears and hearts to listen. May the truths of Romans also continue to pierce our hearts and turn them closer to the Lord Jesus. May the next few months be a time of adoring our Lord more and delighting more in Him!
Christianity Explored – We thank God that Rico Tice, the founder of Christianity Explored, and his team managed to come down to Singapore over the last few days to conduct a training session on evangelism for several church pastors and staff. Our own staff team got a special session by them over breakfast on Thursday and it truly moved our hearts. Do consider bringing a friend or two for the upcoming CE course at the end of the month!
Our Country
Singapore – As Singapore celebrates its 60th National Day on 9 Aug, give thanks that God has richly blessed Singapore as a Nation and its people. Pray that God will continue to use Singapore Christians for His Kingdom purpose to reach the unreached both in Singapore and beyond. Pray for all in our church to have the delight of the gospel in their hearts so that they will be boldly loving others for Christ in their workplaces, schools and communities.
Our World
Israel & Palestine – Two brothers in Christ from the region share these prayer points for both Israel and Palestine.
- Pray for the spiritual and psychological healing for both Palestinians and Israelis, especially the angry, traumatised, and vengeful.
- Pray also for the withdrawal of troops and a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Pray also for Palestinian Gaza’s to be able to receive adequate aid and to be able to restore and rebuild their lives.
- Pray for humanitarian aid to reach those in urgent need in Gaza and the West Bank.
