Pray for the BPCIS as they continue their mission to build relationships, share resources and develop leaders for the next generations of our BP churches.

Land Lease Renewal Fund –We thank God that our Land Lease Renewal Fund’s actual giving has crossed the eight million mark last Sunday. We thank God for His provision through the generous giving of His people. Do pray for God’s continued provision as we seek to return the 3.9 million interest-free loans. Pray also for favourable response for our applications to the Singapore Land Authorities for lease renewal.

Tamil Service Anniversary – The Tamil Service is celebrating God’s goodness and faithfulness this Sunday (26 Sep), their 37th Anniversary Service. They also will be receiving Joel Samuel as a Communicant Member.

Our People

School Exams – Do pray for the PSLE students who are starting their written papers this week. Many families & teachers are feeling added stress from the increasing COVID numbers. Pray that the peace that comes from knowing our sovereign God will come over all the saints.

West Asia Vision Trip – Pray for safe travels, protection on health and wisdom for Kaiyin, Ruth, as she leaves at the end of October for a 6 month vision trip to West Asia. Pray for God’s will to be clear to her as she serves with an NGO (Non-government Organisation) serving refugees there.

ESL Teachers and Team – Classes have been deferred to 2022 amidst the uncertain situation. Do pray and encourage the team who have had to repeatedly adjust their plans, but continue to maintain contact with their students.

Our World

India – Heavy rains are reported in Kolkata and surrounding coastal regions in Northeast India and is causing internet disruptions and many problems because of the resulting floods and water-logging. Pray for dryer weather so that these problems can ease and the work of our partners can continue. Pray also for the local believers in many different areas to remain firm in their faith amidst reports of trials and other challenges.

East Nepal – In this region, many older widows are often left home alone in remote villages while their children seek employment in the cities. Pray for our partner who ministers to these women. May they find the bread of life (John 6:35) in Christ through these visits.

Indonesia – We thank God for faithful brothers and sisters (graduates of the Missiology School) who are sharing God’s love and truth in their communities in various parts of Indonesia. Pray for firm faith & protection as they do so.
